We were nominated for an award for helping to design the "2 oz." bear, as we pushed for its development (we were the first to carry it). All you see on the market now are the same production. Justin, formerly of Betterbee, claimed that their honey was so low moisture, that it was a "3 oz." bear when filled fully. When filled correctly (just above where the bear head meets the neck finish) with avg. moisture honey, it will truly hold 2.25 oz. of honey. 2 oz. will be just below where the head of the bear meets the neck finish. Most label as 2 oz. and probably give a little extra when filling. You should price it for the higher (2.25 oz); this way, you won't get dinged by an inspector for under-filling the container with product as stated on the label, but will cover your costs.
