Looking for land to lease/rent, in the Greenville, SC area, to put bees on.

The first and only time I ever leased land to put bees on turned out to be a bad idea, after having to buy liability insurance and the cost of the lease, I ended up in the hole. Renting for a jar of honey is a better way to go if you can find it. John
There is no shortage of people willing to have honeybees on their property. Make some connections with your local beekeeping association, you will have a waiting list in no time.

Once you get a couple yards, the word gets out among land owners, and they'll be calling you. We give all our land owners a case of honey each fall for letting us use the land. Go out and talk to a few of the farmers in the area. Farmers almost universally know the benefits of having bees on their property.

I posted on craigslist.org, and had more beeyards than I could handle.
Give it a try!
