I have a Kelly top feeder, last week, I heated up 15 pounds mixed sugar,1-1/2 cup of water, 1 cup of my bees honey, 1 tablespoon Cider vinegar, and 2 tablespoon HBH, mixed it put it in the top feeder.
I have it in our furnace room where the humidity is low, it is drying out very well, and is rock hard.
Going to place it on my hive on Sunday evening, the temps here are going to be in the mid 60's Saturday and Sunday.
I believe this should be enough food for them this winter, to survive.
Anyone else do this method?
