What is the latest on FGMO fogging

Does anyone use mineral oil fogging? Reading Pedro's threads from years ago it seemed that he did extensive studies on the subject that proved to be effective. Was he just blowing smoke?

I fog with FGMO and wintergreen.
It gives a good knockdown and seems to stimulate hygenic behaviour.
I've watched them in my top bar observation hives; pretty neat.

It was the Thymol mixture in his later treatments that proved to be effective, in his cords or something

How often do you fog...and under what conditions?

I do it when the counts are high.
As long as the bees are flying, you can fog.
I last did it in September...once weekly for a month.
I used ~ 1.5 drops of wintergreen per ounce of FGMO.

I see FatBeeMan using a Burgess fogger. HD and Lowes have another make...$70...What kind are you using?

Mine is a "Black Flag".
It has a built in igniter.
