? About building winter stores!

When i was checking my hives the other day I noticed a shift in pattern with my bees and wanted to know if it is normal since this will be my first time wintering bees. Where in my hive body use to be frames 1-2 and 9-10 were full of honey stores and 3-8 would have some honey stores around the frames it was mostly all brood and pollen. Well now most all my 10 frames are honey with brood only at the bottoms of the frames. Like 2/3 of the frame is honey and 1/3 brood. Is this normal behavior going into winter? Pretty normal. They need the honey within the cluster area. As they consume honey to convert to heat, heater bees will be able to move in the cells to more effectively heat the comb and cluster.

Normal. If the bees decide that the queen needs more room for eggs, they will move out some of the necter/honey from the middle of the frame (s). They know what to do.
