Any brood in Michigan?

Checked one of my hives for brood. This is a 3 deep setup. Found the queen in the top box, but there wasn't much brood. Alot of young bees present. Are these young bees my winter bees or should the queen keep laying? I'm in southeast Michigan.

Yes those are your bees for winter. You will have little to no brood until January.
