We will be having a day long treatment free event Sunday, October 28th featuring Michael Bush.
Schedule:
8:30 - Prayer Breakfast - Rod Richter
9:30 - 4 Simple Steps - Michael Bush
10:30 - Swarm Catching - Rod Richter
11:30 - Lazy Beekeeping - Michael Bush
12:30 - Lunch - Woodward BBQ (Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives fame)
1:30 - Nucs: Plans, building and using - Drew Coates
2:30 - Queen Rearing - Michael Bush
3:30 - General Discussion, and weather permitting hive inspections of SC, foundationless, feral bees.
I'm sure Michael will have his books available for purchase and autograph.
Cost $30.00 Breakfast and Lunch included (any profit will be donated to our local NEKBA bee club scholarship program)

Also going on in Kansas City Friday and Saturday (Oct. 26 & 27) is the Missouri State Beekeepers Association Conferance which will have many speakers and vendors.

I drove over to KC for this event from Topeka, and it was excellent! Very informative presentations from Michael Bush, Rod Richter, and Drew Coates, and a group size that allowed all of us to directly interact with the experts. Thanks Don for all your work putting this event on & providing breakfast and lunch.
