Yesterday the bees were flying almost in a cloud. They were even bringing in a yellow pollen. I decided that would be a good time to check the sugar bricks.

The bricks were almost untouched. I did not pull any frames but the bees in my "wild hive" were building burr comb and filling it with nectar. They had a couple of undrawn frames a month ago when I went through the hives in prep for cold weather. This hive is a swarm that I caught last February and they fly when it is 40 degrees outside.
