    Default mousde guards clogging

I use a metal mouse guard with the 3/8" holes. I noticed this makes it difficult for the bees to remove the dead. Will this become a problem over winter clogging the entrance?

If you use 1/2" hardware cloth and fit it so the very bottom rung of the cloth is level or touching your bottom board they can easily cross through dragging dead bees behind them.

I agree with Charlie, I have always attached this 1/2" mesh as he has described and have never had a mouse problem or clogged up entrances, the workers can freely drag drones through it easily.
