I did inspections over the weekend and found some hives very low on pollen and those hives are low on brood as well, mainly because of the nectar they are putting in the "old" brood frames, they still have newer comb they built and nothing in them. So i am wondering if it is a good idea to put out pollen in a feeder with the powdered pollen ? or should i just put on some patties? and if that is the case what is my best option for pollen feed , i have heard good things about global patties.
