porter bee escapes: are they advantagous or snakeoil

can anyone give me feedback on bee escapes or an alternative method of getting bees out of the honey supers?also if bee escapes are worthy how do you adjust them?

To get bee's out of supers use beego and a leaf blower. Bee escapes will get that last few bee's out but, not a super full in my opinion.

Bee escapes work unless there are small hive beetles in your area.

I use fume pads with Fisher's BeeQuick, or a blower. I have a few triangle-type escape boards laying around here that I have used a few times, but I have never used the Porter escapes. I use the fume boards in warm weather (70+) and the blower in cooler weather (65 or below).
