    Default to late to harvest honey in northern Michigan ?

    I live in southern michigan and have a weekend place in northern mi. , have not been up there since 1st week in sept. (thought i would be there sooner ) my ? is I have 3 hives up there , all did great this summer , all 3 have 2-3 mediums full on top of their 2 deeps , can i go pull the 2 mediums off this weekend in the mid 50s without causing a problem ? did I wait to long ? what do you advise ? THANK YOU !!!!NEED TO KNOW ASAP THANKS !!!

    Yes, you can remove honey.

    I think it might even be easier to take off the supers if it is cold and most of the bees have moved back down into the cluster!
