    Default Look What I Got

    046.jpg
I was surfing the web one night in 2009, and came across Mikes web site. Thats what made me decide that I would become a Beekeeper. I have read through his web site at least twice, some parts four and five times. Looking forward to the books now. Steve

It is not what got me into beekeeping but it sure has helped me fumble through all my mistakes and come out ahead.
His site and his books alone are all a hobbyist needs to get started. Michael is IMO the guru to follow for up to date beekeeping when all you care about is having fun.

Then Brian, can I expect to see you in Syracuse in November? Michael Bush will be one of the speakers at the Fall Mtng of the Empire State Honey Producers Association, Inc. The meeting is Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 and 17. Michael will be arriving Thursday afternoon. so come early and spend some one on one time w/ him. He will be speaking to us w/ two or three talks.

I wish I could have gone to HAS or the W T Kelly Field Day to hear Michael speak. I have the book and enjoy it thouroughly. The club I belong to depends heavily on treatments and look at me funny when I tell them I haven't done anything to treat for mites.

Well yeah, I will put that on my calendar. Do I need registration forms?

If you wish to vote during the general meeting you need to be a member ten days before the meeting. Otherwise you can register for the meeting the day of the meeting. Though preregistration is encouraged. Go to eshpa.org, the website of the Empire State Honey Producers Association, Inc. and there will be a registration form. If not there now, it will be.

    Steve,
Sorry if I am hijacking your Thread. Come on up to NY.
