Alley Gator.jpgGuess who came to dinner? I imagine he is celebrating that first 27-14 win over the Bowling Green Falcons. Texas A&M goes down tomorrow! The wife says he has to go because of our little dog though.

Apply for the county tag next year!
Just looking at how the Gators "handled" Bowling Green, I'm thinking A&M may get their first SEC victory.
they handled bowling green that way to give texas enough courage to show up on there own field today and think they might have a chance
Texas A&M IS NOT texas. Please don't confuse the two. Your instruction on the Fighting' Texas Aggies is about to begin. Kyle Field will be a good schoolyard.
I don't have a dog in this fight (actually Georgia is playing Misery and I don't claim them dawgs anyhow). But, I think casinoken might have a good read on the game. Florida's resounding(?) defeat of BG wasn't overly impressive, their play wasn't impressive, it was one of those games where the "favorite" gives you that "ugh" feeling.
Florida didn't quiet make the line, but how they got as close to the line as they did is what makes me think they may hit a wall with the Aggies...their play was lackluster. The Aggies are pumped up, it's their season opener and it's their first opener as part of the SEC...they've got a lot to prove and Florida might just be the SEC welcome mat that Reveile might just, uh, well let us just say....deposit on.
Not tryin' to stir anything up, just sayin'...

My sympathies to the Aggies that lost 20-17 to the Chomp-Chomp Gators. I guess A&M stands for Agony and Misery this week.

Yes, I'm eating my gator with a generous helping of CROW this evening. Good game though. I thought we had you in the first half but you switched gears on us in the second and our rookie QB couldn't adjust. Good luck the rest of the year!
good luck to texas AGGIES in there new confrance SEC
Congrats to the gators. The aggies played a good half-game just like the gators...but the gator's half game was better.

It's nice to have wildlife around!
That's for sure!
Although tomorrow a wee bit against A and M. HOWEVER never for Texas!
Trying techniques that I doubt will work because I like to be right!
gator is gone! Alley decided to go after the tractor while mowing today, he was three foot without the head

Mmmm, that doesn't bode well for the Gators....the Tegahs might be dining on them tomorrow. But, if it's any consolation I'll be pulling for the Gators...the ones with heads.
By "tractor" I take it to me a lawnmower and not a regular tractor...right?

A mower or riding mower is fine up to an acre. With 5 + acres I would be starting over as soon as I thought I was finished. With all the rain we are having this year it is almost that way with a tractor. They are rolling hay almost every week in the surrounding farms. The county actually gave up on mowing the shoulders for a while.

Ok, I was just wondering. Close quarters on a lawn mower I can understand dispatching the gator. I use a little 54" JD to cut about 3 acres...takes 3 to 3-1/2 hours.
Gators played a good game even if LSU had some holes in their lineups.
