    Default Drawing Foundation

What is the best way to get bees to draw out foundation this time of year?

If you don't have a honey flow, 1:1 sugar water is about you're only chance.

I have had good luck with Honey Bee Healthy and Amino B Booster both in 1:1 syrup.

I recently put 1:1 syrup in top feeders on two new hives that weren't fully drawn. It seems to work here (90-degree days, 55-degree nights).

However, one of the hives seems to be becoming honeybound. Is there a better feeder style to use this late in the year? Or are the bees simply cutting down the brood area in prep for winter?

Well that would explain my mistake.... I was using 2 to 1 syrup.
