Taking the plunge in Arkansas
Greetings!
After years of hanging around on the fringe of beekeeping -- a "wannabeekeeper," as I called myself -- I've decided to finally get hives of my own. Planning to have 'em in place before the nectar flow starts here next year. I've got most of the gear except actual hives (well, and bees), and have done some work assisting other beekeepers, including at our local community garden. Really looking forward to putting all my book-reading and YouTube-watching to use! Local beek group meets week after next and I'll be there.
