Hello from Oklahoma! I'm looking forward to getting started!

They call me Bruce...I've been interested in bees ever since my Grandfather had a couple of hives many years ago. I'm looking forward to getting started with a couple of colonies of my own. I'm told that when I was about 3 years old I stuck a stick in one of Grandpa's hives and stirred it up. Many stings, but evidently didn't hamper my enthusiasm. Glad to know y'all!

welcome to the forum! You should look up Velbert Williams... he is down south of Poteau, my hometown, and has great stock and is a great guy to deal with when getting bees or when in need of a queen. He is in Heavner and his number is 918-774-6919. This forum is great for information and help!

I'll try to do that! My wife, Robin, is from Heavener. The first thing I noticed on this forum is how small this little world is.
