    Default Beeing Helpful

I had to take a Introduction to Film Making Course this summer in order to re-certify as a school teacher. Our big
assignment was to produce a 5 minute film on a subject of our choice.

I chose Urban Beekeeping. I realize much of this info has been covered in incredible recent feature length documentaries but
I thought I would do my best to present the info in 5 minutes.

My 10 year old son did the narration.

Thought the folks at BeeSource would appreciate it.

Here it is. Hope you enjoy.

    Very well done!

Like the narrators animation and excellent narating, and the look on the faces of the two cute kids watching the bees eat honey out of the spoon.

Well I have seen a lot of half baked videos on the topic of bees and this isn't one of them. I am sure you will get an A+ on that presentation and your son is destine to accomplish great things in the future.
Of course filming is always easier when you are interested in the subject matter but that doesn't take away from the great job you and your son did.

Now can you pass that talent on to your students?

Really good presentation. You are a great teacher and presenter. Your kids are adorable! I wish, you could do a series of educational movies on different aspects of beekeeping. Sergey

I sure hope so. The professor was excellent and had 30+ years in the film industry. He really helped fine tune the film.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.

    PastorJ,

That was beautiful. I had some tears roll up in my eyes. The music was perfect, your son was awesome and the scene with the bees on the spoon was inspiring. Thank you!

That's actually a community garden in our
Downtown area . The big oak in the background of that shot
Is the location of the feral hive shown in
The film. It's really cool to watch. The hive located at
The garden is mine and I'll be putting another beside it
In the near future. That garden feeds a lot of
Families that couldn't afford fresh vegetables.
