Default What to do with Moth Damaged Frames?

I had a spare super in my garage that I found was hit by wax moths.

A few weeks ago, I took the frames and spread them out along the side of my house. Not in the direct sun, but certainly light and in the mid 80s every day.

    My question is this:

    * Since there is no longer any sign of larvae, can I put the comb-covered frames back on a healthy hive or do I need to scrape the comb off first?

(I do not have access to a freezer.)

    Thanks for any advice!

Not sure this is a correct answer, but I would switch out one frame at a time in a strong hive to let them clean it up. I've done it and have been sucessful. Same senerio.

Clean off the webs as best you can and the bees will repair the damaged comb......Bill

The bees do a good job of cleaning. If the comb is real old, I swap it out with foundation instead since I like to rotate old comb.
