    Default When are they capped?

I moved a frame of eggs and brood into a nuc on 7/22 and they were capped by 7/29. I'm trying to estimate hatch date, but I'm not sure how long it takes them to cap a cell. Is it a days-long process, or can they whip one out in a few hours? The kids want to sit out and try to see the mating flights, so I'd love help trying to figure out a reasonable window.

The mating flight will be hard to see as there is only one queen. Try to get a frame while the workers are coming out of their cells. It will hold the kids attention much longer as there is relatively constant action watching them hewing through the caps and being "born"
