    Default From Southwest Missouri

Hello beekeepers. I started the great adventure of beekeepig about 5 years ago after my dad passed away. He was a beekeeper for about 35 years. I started with 6 of his hives. Now I have 14. I have a lot to learn. Sometimes I wake up and think, "do I really know anything about bees" but so far I keep going. This is definitely a challenging year in SW Missouri with the heat and lack of rain. I have a great wife of 32 years, three married children, and 6 grandchildren. We all love God. My hobbies also include riding bikes (bicycles) with my wife about 30 - 50 miles per week. I look forward to learning all I can about beekeeping through these forums.

    Thumbs Up Welcome!

I'm sure the bee connection with your dad is comforting. There is a lot of new infomation everyday here on the forums.
