If you are just starting and you do not find a used one Mann Lake has a good selection and free shipping depending on the size. I started with their stainless 3 frame hand crank one. I will be upgrading next year to an 18 framer but plan to keep the little one.

thanks i got in mind just to build one. i want a motor on it so i dont have to sit there and crank it.

Yes, I am extracting 20 deep boxes of honey with that 3 frame hand crank and dreaming about a motor for it. That is why I am getting the motorized 18 framer next year.
