Pulling the comb out.

I put super on a 10 frame two deeps last week,the caught is only had enough foundation for 5 frames,so I decided to make the other 5 frames foundationless frames.The girls are drawing comb on the foundation frames but not the foundationlees frames.Sould I put foundation frames back in or give them time. Thanks.

I would guess - give them time. They're doing the easy stuff first.

Do you have a starter strip on the foundationless, that seems to help for me.

Yes I have starter strip, took it off top frame.Thinking maybe some wax on strip.

Make sure you have the foundationless inbetween the foundation and not all on one side of the box.
