    Default What is this?

    Hello all...

I followed the thread regarding mites with interest because I have a problem in one of my hives where there appear to be a lot of deformed winged bees on the ground in front of my hive....I put a sticky board under the hive and over the span of two days only collected 45 mites on the whole board. There was something I didn't recognize...one of the deformed wing bees made it onto the sticky board and died..there are a bunch of little somethings all around it...it almost looked like they came out of the bee...any thoughts? The hive otherwise is doing ok.bee pic.jpg
