I am building a pair of extractors, an eight frame and a 24 frame, having a great time figuring out how to make things work, I have built all of my own equipment and have sold quite a bit too. I tell my wife that doing all this stuff keeps me out of the bars, lol.

Nope, seen that, I am building one from a food grade blue barrel, and 1 frome sheet stainless.
There are several threads on Beesource about using motors from treadmills to power extractors, both homemade or commercial extractors. Here's a recent one:

And when I saw a "malfunctioning treadmill" recently offered for free on Craigslist, I went for it. I have salvaged a perfectly good variable speed motor and control system. It even has an RPM counter available. Now for the next steps ....![]()
