Default trick for bees off the honey?

So I'm lazy and my planning is poor...

I'm trying to get a few shallows of honey tomorrow and I dont have any real method to separate the frames of honey from the bees besides sweeping one frame at a time and walking backwards.

I've got an air compressor on the deck... is there a better option?

I have used a blower on my air compressor to empty supers of bees. Turn your pressure down so that there is not to much velocity or you will kill bees. Stand the super on end aimed at hive, blow between the frames. A powerful shop vac blower works too, or leaf blower with a crevice nozzle.
