Who uses a maxant uncaping instead of a hot knife? Who has used one and how do od did you like it? I need to get a hot knife and the plane looks interesting. Heaver, harder to use , not as versatable, or what? I will only be using med. frames.

You can find lots of convesations here in BeeSource on the plane vs knife with a little search. I have both and prefer the plane over the knife msot any day. Easier on the wrist for one. Either way you'll still want a comb to take care of the occasional low spots, unless your bees make textbook perfect comb.
Don't confuse me with facts... my mind is made up.

i saw a hot air-heat gun video but do not think i like it. i did seach the plane but only came up with there video.
