    5 gal of water to 25 lbs sugar. thats 41 lbs of water to 25 sugar

    my summer time feed is 3 gallons of water to 25 lbs of sugar... and this is a thin mix. in winter, it is 3 gallons to 50 lbs of sugar..

    For comb drawing, u need a 1 to 1, which would come out to about 2 1/2 gallons to 25 pounds sugar. I mix two quarts with five pounds sugar when making my bee tea, that is how I figured the amount for you.

    my bees like 40lbs w/3gallons(5:3?) for drawing out frames. I also roll extra wax on foundation.
