Hey buddha,
That is a nice catch!!
I think your spidey-sense was on point. By the way, the roof on your TBH is rustic and cool.
It looks like a buttload of bees for that hive, is it crowded in there?
Hey there
Thanks. Im on holidays now and a friend is taking care for them. Basicly just checking if they are still flying in and out
I gave them 12 top bars of space + a few top bars inbetween the follower boards for the honey jar. I was thinking to expand the nest this friday to a full hive. They have 1/3 of the hive now.

Hey buddha,
The ed clark book rocks. You posted it on a different thread. Thanks
Really opened my eyes to the unseen processes happening in the hive.
What latitude are you located on? (Trying to compare our seasons)
You are welcome
The latitude is;

My two TBHs are at this location now but I care for them only until October when this course ends. After that I will move with my wife to Denmark which is much warmer and much more humid and windy.
