breeding nuc

Hi all i am new to this site and beekeeping this is really my frist year alocal friend past away afew weeks ago and i was given some of his beekeeping equitment in it is a 4compartment breeding nuc and i would like to know if anyone could give any info on how to get started on using and setting it up the gentleman that igot it from past away before he could show me how to use it .

It's an intermediate to advanced piece of equipment. If you aren't already a bee keeper you should read the bee keeping 101 forum first - or a book like "Bee Keeping for Dummies" - seriously, not an insult. Good luck.
