    Default galv. screen

    i was thinking on making a strainer in the bottom of my uncaping pain . Is using 1/8" x 1/8" galv. screen bad for the honey? i know ss wire would bee the best. i just wanted to get the big stuf out as i uncap .

    i am tabling the galv wire. i see granger sales a .100 ss woven wire.

    galvinized steel isn't recommended for acidic foods, see here:

    Since honey is acidic with a ph of 3 to 6, when I looked it up, I don't think this is a good idea.
