Entrance Reducer!

I use the 3" entrance on 2 of my hives that I've noticed yellow jackets going in and out of. This seems to help the guard bees do their job, at least so far so good. Can I leave the reducers on all the time or remove them after a few weeks?

usually remove them when the population gets big enough to require a larger entrance, but reinstall in the fall before winter.

if yellowjackets are getting aggressive i'd leave them on. if yellowjackets are still getting in i'd go smaller.
