Wasp prevention

I'm receiving a kit from Dadant soon and it includes an entrance feeder. I heard that often, these feeders can attract wasps. How do I prevent this without buying some special type of feeder?

Place a empty box on top of your inner cover and feed with a upside down jar on the inner cover hole.A few holes in the lid with a nail and you are in business. No wasp and no robbing from other hives.
IMO any entrance feeder is garbage.
