Hi there--

I'd like to add propolis traps (the black bendable plastic kind) to the tops of my hives in place of the inner cover, with a telescoping top above the trap (propped up slightly to let in light).

I have until now cut a notch out of the front edge of an inner cover to provide a top entrance for the bees. Now that I am entirely removing the inner covers, how can I continue to provide a top entrance for them? I'd rather not drill holes in my boxes. I find the bees really like the top entrances, and sometimes prefer them to lower entrances.

Thanks for you ideas.

Ian
