Freezing honey degrades it?
I have a green plastic drone fame which the bees have drawn out, put a few capped drone cells in, and mainly filled with honey, about half of it capped. I removed the frame to freeze the larvae (& any mites) but before I freeze it, will freezing it degrade the honey in any way for the bees? Plan was to freeze it and then rotate it back in when the other frame gets capped drones.

Freeze it at least 48 hours, remove it and let it warm up. open the caps of the cells, put it back in. There is no problem about the honey being bothered or degraded.

Think about what happens to honey in the winter.

No, freezing won't degrade the honey.
