New Beekeeper in da house!... or should I say New Beekeeper in da hive!!!!
Hey fellow beekeepers,
I'm a noobee to beekeeping here in the NY State...Lower Hudson Valley to be exact. 40 miles north of NYC.
This is my first year .... I have one hive on my postage stamp sized property and so far so good. My 5 1/2 year old daughter is my assistant and on crazy hat day at school she wore her beekeepers hat. Everyone in school loved her crazy hat and from then on she was hooked. http://trippingastral.com/bees/index.html
Hopefully I won't make too many dumb mistakes. The first one was picking up my nuke. It was a medium and I only had deeps! So while the nuke sat there I mad a quick trip to home depot and learned wood working real fast!
Anyway, I love beekeeping and cant wait to learn more. See you in the forums!
