pigeon river extractors

Has anyone used the pigeon river stainless manual extractors? They are lik 130 which seems reasonable as long as the quality is decent.

Any comments?

Yes I did meant Pigeon Mountain Trading Company extractors. Has anyone used these and comment on their quality. Specifically the stainless ones for 130.

I saw in a thread the other day a guy bought one, he said it had metal gears. I have thier suit, its good quality, I wondered this myself.

I have the Extra Tall Stainless Steel Honey Extractor from them and it is all metal except the wooden handle and the plastic honey gate. They seem to be exceptionally well built, but I haven't had the time to use it. Very sturdy. I was a little shy of buying one
because the prices are low and there isn't much information on their website, but I'm glad I did. Very pleased with their work and I never heard anything bad about them.

I can't speak to their extractors, but I have been to the store and talked to them and they are a friendly bunch that knows bees and equipment. Call them. I'm sure they'd tell you everything you want to know.

All large ones are radial. Many small extractors only hold shallow or mediums, and spin them sideways. They should include more pictures and info.

After re-reading my last post, you are right, They are all centrifugal. So my question; is yours a radial where all frames are like spokes, or sideways, where the side of the frame faces outward?
