Queen intouction preference/success
I know topic has been discussed many times, but I would like to get an idea of what beek's are thinking these days. I am going to be introducing mated queens into 4-frame nucs and the nucs will have brood of all ages. Its the young larvae/eggs that makes me nervous. The nucs will be queenless for 24hrs +- and I will probably find some cells to cut out. I've had good success with push-in-wire cages. My queens are transported in JZ"S BZ"S plastic cages and will have not been laying for about 3 days. Any thoughts to insure a happy transition??
