New Member from Middle TN

Just set up 2 10 Frame Hives from Nucs in April on my Farm in Middle TN.

Learning a lot in these first few months.

Already filled up two deeps for each and starting on a medium.

Wow, they work fast! Welcome, you will find a tremendous amount of knowledge here. I, too, just started and find the forum a great place to seek info. As everyone says, the bees will certainly teach you a lot.

Thanks for the replies.

I was sure I had a swarm last week. I went back to check on the hives and one of them was surrounded by a cloud of bees, with the front bearded. The other one had a fairly low activity level.

I broke the hive down last weekend to check on it. No queen cells, regular patterns everywhere, lots of egg and brood. I guess it was just a lot of bees out after a big hatching?
