I had a nuc that was pretty weak and when I checked it today, slime and beetle larvae. What do you do with the frames/comb? Can it be salvaged?

Integrity - Doing the right thing when no one is watching.
Freeze the frames for 48 hours. The first split I attempted was slimmed the day before a new queen was to emerge. I froze the frames and gave them to a strong hive to clean up. If the frames are really bad, you may have to replace them or replace the foundation. If you are using plastic foundation, you could scrape it off before giving it back to the bees.
