My second inspection inspection of an installed nuclei in a 10 frame medium revealed a problem. I put the screened bottom board in upside down. So what the bees are doing is building comb down from the bottom of the frames. I would like to make things right by flipping the bottom board and removing the extra comb. I do have a extra deep body that I could insert the frames in and not remove the comb. I think removing the comb is the thing to do.
I would appreciate other thoughts.
