i have some guineas bough them when they were two days old there going on 6 weeks old now. how old should they be before i turn them out of there pen and let the roam free?
i have some guineas bough them when they were two days old there going on 6 weeks old now. how old should they be before i turn them out of there pen and let the roam free?
As soon as mine are featherd out i turn them loose, now they need to be in a ground pen first so if you have them in a pen high off the ground they will not know where to return, they ain't the sharpest tool in the shead. LOL
I have 100's of guineas so if ya need more info just ask.
Theses are around 6 weeks when i opened the pen and let them out, it takes a while befor they will wonder very far usually when they get their adult feathers.

Any problems with your bees and Guineas?
Not a bit and i have geese,chickens,ducks and peafowl also.
There are some lizzards that dine at the bee hive though.
