    Default Hello from SW Tennessee

    This past February I attended a short course on beekeeping in Memphis with the intention of learning about bees for a year before getting my own bees. One of the prizes was a beginners beekeeping kit and bees. Guess who won?! First time I have ever won anything significant. So, low and behold, I have been doing my best at playing catch up and learning as I go. The bees seem to be doing great and I'm so thankful for that and for this forum, which is a wealth of information.
