am building a warre style hive from a hollow log, as I install the bars as each section is made I doubt if the bars would align with the ones above. Is this a concern?

I also read that in a warre ,that criss crossing the boxes did not do harm and was in fact beneficial for some reason, but I cannot find this information now. Anybody have any experience with alternating the boxes on a warre?
