Buttercups - toxic?
Right now, there seem to be fields and fields of buttercups all around our cabin, interspersed with lots of phlox and clover. But I've not noticed any bees on the buttercups, while I do see them all over the forget-me-nots, phlox, remaining dandelions and clover. Do they not like buttercups? I know that the plant is toxic when ingested, but from the bright yellow pollen they were carrying back, I figured that's what they were on.
