Aspiring AZ Beekeeper

Hey all,

I just recently purchased my dream home in Sierra Vista, AZ on an acre of land. I'm an avid gardner and in the intrest of higher yeilds I started learning about honeybees. Holy smokes I'm hooked! I've read pretty much anything I can get my hands on and I'm going to buy the hives this year. Not sure if it's too late to start a hive though so for now I'm holding off on getting bees (unles I can get 'em cheap and local!) I'm new to the subject so any pointers would be appreciated! My main mission these days is trying to scout out a beekeeping mentor. If you're willing to train me and you're local, I'm willing to work! I'm eager to learn and willing to work long hours if need be just for a couple nuggets of wisdom and some experience. Thanks in advance for all you veteran beekepers who are going to point me in the right direcition!

HI Im up in Flag some day I might do a cuttout down there a friend has a farm and I guess a old house is completely filled with bees but time is next to impossibla pluss I like my 70 degree weather.
