    Default Swarm on the ground?

Last week I had three swarms. I caught two and put them in an empty hive with brood from my strongest hive. The third one had been hanging on one of my blackberries bushes. Then it was gone. A few days later we realized that it was on the ground under the same blackberry bush. I left it alone thinking that it wouldn't stay there. It stormed yesterday and they are still there.

I am going to try to show a picture of them.

What in the world am I supposed to do with them?

    Thank you.100_2176.jpg100_2177.jpg

Put a hive with old comb next to them.

Can you nudge the bees around to find the queen? If you can find her put her in a box on the ground beside the swarm. Hopefully they will march in. You may also want to add some brood.
    Good luck!

I have caught ground swarms by setting a box with old comb on top of them. If you want them fast put a frame of brood in too. Just set it on top and come back the next day.
