drift how much is to much

Hi all.I moved 8 hives from one location to another in the same yard about 100 yards.Bees all over the original stand.Put a double deep with some brood on the old stand full of bees.Should the new hive be taken to a new yard?PS With all the bees being queenless I also thought of starting some grafts.

Why not give them a few frames of brood and eggs and honey.

Yes, take it to another location for a week or so and then bring it back, if you wish, and put it with the others. Like Michael said or, like AmB said. Either way.
