New Beekeeper from northern NY
I'm an organic dairy farmer from northern NY. We milk and graze about 50 cows and also raise most of our own eggs, chicken, pork, beef and vegetables. This is my first year keeping bees. I started with a package of Buckfasts that I installed April 27th. They are doing great! I just took a second hive over to an Amish beekeeper on Black Lake who is making splits and will fill your hive for $70. He is going to write me when its ready to pick up. I love beekeeping and wish I had took the leap and got into it years ago! Looking forward to learning from you folks here.
