Good morning,
I'm Alan Ray and started two hives for the first time two weeks ago.
Was off to a good start on week one with about 60% draw out in each brood box. We marked the queens and spot them easy. On week two one hive was going strong and the other ants were in the feeder and the little lady's weren't drinking from it. Spotted queen cells on the outside of the brood chamber and there is still a queen laying. I hope by removing the ants they stop the supersedure. I put cinnamon around the hive and am making an oil moat stand to place this weekend.
Thanks ahead of time about an thoughts
